Q. I’ve imported all my 2025–26 contractors into BrightCIS, but the CIS figures haven’t come across. Is something wrong?

No, nothing is wrong. This is expected behaviour.

When you import into BrightCIS, no historical CIS figures or payments are imported. 

 Only the setup details come across.

Here’s how it works:

1. What does import into BrightCIS include?
   

• Contractor details  
• Subcontractor details  
• Pay elements  

2. What does not import into BrightCIS?

• No historical CIS payments or figures are imported from the desktop version.  
   
• Any CIS processed in previous years (or on the 2025–26 desktop file) will not appear in BrightCIS.

3. Where can I see my old CIS figures?  
  All historical CIS information remains available on your desktop software. You can continue to access and report on these figures on your PC at any time.
